Past Awareness & Community Outreach
Our past awareness campaigns target the community members who have the power to speak out against domestic violence and step up to stop it when it happens. Here are some of the incredible campaigns that we've run in the past few years:

Stop Child Abuse II: Safeguarding Our Next Generation
Casa Raudha hosted a crucial child abuse awareness symposium, titled "Stop Child Abuse: Safeguarding Our Next Generation," on Friday, October 6th. This symposium marked the culmination of our two-year campaign dedicated to raising awareness about the vital importance of ending child abuse and breaking the cycle of abuse across generations.
The event brought together key professionals to address the urgent issue of child abuse within the context of preschool-aged children. Highlights included Dr. Padmini, Senior Consultant at the Department of Child Development, KK Womenโs and Childrenโs Hospital, who shared valuable insights into recognising signs and symptoms of child abuse, particularly in cases where children may be unable to express themselves.
The symposium's heart lay in two panel discussions. The first panel explored early detection of child abuse in preschools, featuring experts from the preschool sector, pediatric medicine, child protective service, and early childhood development agency. The second panel focused on nurturing children who have experienced abuse, with contributions from a parenting expert, child psychologist, social worker, and a courageous child abuse survivor who shared her inspiring journey of overcoming challenges.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to MSF for their invaluable support, as well as to all the participants who contributed to the success of this meaningful event โค๏ธ
Casa Raudha's commitment to fighting child abuse remains unwavering, and we are dedicated to continuing our work in this crucial cause ๐ช๐ป

Family Symposium
In collaboration with Assyakirin Mosque, Al-Falah Mosque, Centre for Men & Family (CMF) and supported by MSF, Casa Raudha organized a family symposium with the theme โInclusive Family: Tenderness, Respect and Love For Allโ on 26 August 2023.
Following our menโs dialogue since 2020, this is the fourth series whereby our esteemed panelists and moderators addressed a wider variety of family issues.
Thank you to everyone who attended, making the symposium a success! If you missed it, you can watch it here: https://fb.watch/mM6crb8Xh4/?mibextid=jG6M0M

Breaking The Patriarchal Mindset
A dialogue on the topic of "Breaking the Patriarchal Mindset: Men's Perspective" was held. The dialogue was organized by Casa Raudha and Emaan Catalyst Community, in conjunction with #CelebratingSGWomen. Over 70 participants attended the dialogue session and various topics were discussed such as equal partnership, embracing positive masculinity & domestic skillsets.

Walk With Me
The walkathon was split across 5 parks in Singapore and received an exceptional turnout of supporters from our community partners and general public.

Work With Me
Partnering with the Assyakirin Mosque, we put together a panel of professional men to discuss pressing issues and answered specific questions about domestic violence and drove home the importance of sharing the responsibility to fight against domestic violence in the community.
These are only some of the domestic violence awareness campaigns that we've spearheaded in the last few years. With the support of our community partners, we hope to continue preventing domestic violence and supporting domestic violence survivors as much as possible.
