After more than a decade of providing safe accommodation for survivors of domestic violence, Casa Raudha has evolved and cast its net wider in supporting vulnerable families and individuals in combating domestic violence. Casa Raudha advocates for a life free of domestic violence. In addition to providing shelter for survivors of domestic violence, Casa Raudha conducts programs to raise awareness, and work closely with vulnerable families, including the person who caused hurt towards building resilience. With effect from 1st Jan 2021, Casa Raudha Women Home (CRWH) will be part of Casa Raudha Ltd (CRL).

Shahrany Hassan

Founder and Director of The Whitehatters; a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) focused on community development, responsible advocacy and activism, Shahrany’s impactful work has earned mentions in Parliament and been featured numerous times in the media.
Having spent 16 years in the corporate and government sectors, she gained extensive experience in strategic planning, talent management, business development and marketing.

Mr Abdul Hamid Abdullah, CISA, CA Singapore retired from his audit director’s role in the-General’s Office, Singapore in August 2017 after 38 years of auditing experience in the public sector. Currently he is freelacing as a trainer and audit consultant in areas relating to governance, risk management, regulatory compliance, information security and IT audits. He is an Associate Faculty, Singapore Institute of Technologies and Executive Advisor (Risk Management, Audit and Regulatory Technology), Straits Interactive. He is an active volunteer in the charity sector and non-profit organisations.

Dr Nurhidayati

Dr Nurhidayati is a doctor, specialising in obstetrics and gynaecology. She graduated from the National University of Singapore and subsequently obtained her postgraduate degree from the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, UK. She is admitted as a fellow to the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, UK. Besides medicine, she has also completed her law degree as well as an executive MBA degree
Being a busy clinician doesn't deter her from contributing time towards voluntary work. When she was younger, she went overseas on Raleigh Expeditions as well as Study Group Exchange to Brazil program by Rotary Club. She was also on the Singapore haj medical team for several years. Currently, she is a board member of CaringSg and the vice-president of the Muslim Healthcare Professionals Association.
Dr Corinne Ghoh

Dr Corinne Ghoh is Senior Consultant with the Ageing Planning Office, Ministry of Health. She is also an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Department of Social Work , National University of Singapore (NUS) and a Steering Committee Member of NUS Next Age Institute, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. Her areas of expertise in social work practice and research interest include protection of the welfare of vulnerable individuals in family violence situations, financial capability and asset building for vulnerable low-income individuals and gerontology.
Dr Jenson Goh

Dr. Jenson is CEO of Coddiwompling, a boutique transformational solutions provider that offers comprehensive services to support organisations in their transformative journey.
Dr. Jenson is sought after by companies around the world for business and IT consultancy particularly for his insights on business excellence, systems thinking, design thinking and organisational learning. He was awarded the prestigious Business Excellence Green Jacket Assessor by Enterprise SG. He is an expert certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, WSQ Advanced Certification in Learning and Performance, LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, LEGO® Six Bricks and Playbox facilitator. Jenson was the former Chief Information & Learning Officer of a public listed company worth $1B operating in Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, and the UK. He led the IT function and was also responsible for designing and implementing group-wide learning strategies and programs to cultivate systems thinking based learning culture in the organisation.
Jenson dedicated more than 2 decades of his career with the National University of Singapore, where he earned his PhD in Information Systems, researching ways an organisation can strategically renew itself through IT innovation towards social, environmental and economic sustainability. In his last role in NUS, he was Director of Studies where he designed a transformative programme to develop students into proficient system thinkers and in the application of innovative teaching methods to drive learning. Prior to that, as the Chief Enterprise Architect, he led many strategic and mission critical IT initiatives to support the University’s teaching, research and administration. His work in the University has won more than 20 international and national awards in innovation, quality, case writing and teaching.
Jenson volunteers passionately in numerous organisations, for example he is the President of Asia Pacific Coordinating Policy Council of System Dynamics Society, co-opted executive member of Tech Talent Assembly, Chairman of SG75 My Home Competition and board member of Casa Raudha Woman Home to name a few. Most of all, he served his country as the Head, Manpower and Logistics (NS) in the Singapore Police Force and held the rank of Superintendent, one of the highest accolades given to National Servicemen, and was responsible for the operational readiness of 1,600 NSmen for more than 10 years. For his dedication, he received multiple awards from the Commissioner of Police and Division Commander including the most prestigious Home Team NS man of the year award in 2018.
Nur Liyana M. Sinwan
Date of Appointment: 4 June 2022
Liyana Sinwan’s niche areas of practice include divorce, adoption and guardianship, wills and probate, and applications under the Mental Capacity Act. She handles family law and probate work in both the civil law and Syariah law systems.
Liyana has acted for clients from different corners of the world, including the United Kingdom, France, Turkey, and Egypt, in matters involving cross-border disputes on the custody and access of children as well as the division of matrimonial assets. She has also represented clients in contested estate matters spanning various jurisdictions.
Liyana graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2012 and was admitted as an advocate and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in July 2013.
In her early years of practice, she was exposed to a wide range of practice areas including civil and commercial litigation, matrimonial disputes, criminal matters, as well as conveyancing. She has acted for several high-profile clients, including an international hotel brand and a multinational construction company. She has represented clients in the Singapore Court of Appeal for civil litigation matters, as well as at the Syariah Appeal Board for Muslim divorce cases.

The Prevention Committee provides support in response to domestic violence. It aims to secure continuous improvement responses and disseminate best practices, innovation, and long-term public education, awareness, and consciousness-raising vital to creating social change.
Protection
The Protection Committee ensures the operation activities incorporate the values of inclusion and diversity into the development of the residents while fostering long-term empowerment over cycles of dependency.
Restoration
The Restoration Committee provides recommendations, feedback and initiatives on matters that impact the experience of the families to recover from harm, prevent violence from reoccurring, transform out of dominant norms that enable violence, and enhance family’s cohesiveness.
Audit Committee
The Audit Committee oversees compliance with statutory governance requirements and ensures adherence to established internal controls to protect the company’s assets and promote transparency.

Zaharah Ariff

Mdm Zaharah obtained her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Counselling Psychology and proceeded to receive her Master’s Degree in Professional Counselling. She is ACTA trained and a Certified Mediator.
Casa Raudha, formerly known as Casa Raudha Women Home was incorporated in 2008 under her leadership as one of the founding members. Over the years, Mdm Zaharah has led, managed and guided her team in diverse settings, to uphold the key areas of services that include Protection, Prevention, and Restoration.
At the national-level, Mdm Zaharah has trained over a thousand working professionals including the frontliners on detecting signs of abuse. As the Executive Director of Casa Raudha and the Chairperson of the National Family Violence Networking System (NFVNS), Mdm Zaharah advocates for a life free of domestic violence at national conferences and symposiums, to drive more awareness of domestic violence and in turn, build communities from the ground up.

Jariah Jantan
Graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Social Work, she believes one of the most rewarding and interesting career fields is social work which allowed her to understand people, and help them, every single day.
Having worked for more than 15 years in the medical setting, she wanted a change and do more in the community. She joined Casa Raudha in 2021 as an Assistant Manager that oversees the operation of the shelter. She leads a wonderful team that supports the residents and thrives on keeping the adult and children safe in the shelter and continuing to make a difference in their lives.

Jackielyn Aquino Abuel
Having worked at Casa Raudha for five years, Jackielyn or fondly called by colleagues and peers as Jacky, joined the organization as a Home Care Officer. Now a Senior Home Care Officer, she supports the beneficiaries and ensures that they are well attended to, safe and protected during their stay in the shelter.
During her free time, she bakes, cooks, watches movies and enjoys outdoor activities as a form of self-care, as she believes that “to take care of others, you should start by taking care of yourself.”

Safira Aafrin
Safira graduated from the University of Newcastle with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, specializing in Accounting. Her dreams were of becoming a businesswoman, but she decided to first learn the intricacies of how a business operates, which led her down this path. This foundational knowledge fueled her success as a Finance Manager for a security firm, where she adeptly handled financial reporting, planning and analysis, as well as regulatory compliance.
Currently, she is actively pursuing the Chartered Accountant qualification and is excited to be part of the Casa Raudha team. Here, she recognizes that her expertise serves a more meaningful purpose than solely generating profit.

Nawwarah Abdul Ghani
As a Bachelor holder in Communications, Nawwarah has a vast interest and experience, having gone through an internship as a Digital Reporter at Mediacorp's TODAY Online and spent five years working in a marketing agency in Singapore, running very successful social media campaigns that engender virality, shareability and engagement.
Certified in Facebook Advertising, her specialty includes videography, video editing and graphic design.
Her passion in helping vulnerable individuals and families sparked through her volunteering experience at Marsiling CC, where she was a student writer for three years, having met and interacted with individuals who came from underprivileged backgrounds.
As the Events & Programmes Senior Executive at Casa Raudha, she aspires to use her creative and technical skills to come up with outreach campaigns to drive more awareness of domestic violence and in turn, build communities from the ground up.

Anisah Hazirah
Anisah Hazirah, a Marketing and Communications Executive with a passion for making a difference. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with Communications from the University of Birmingham. It was there that she discovered her passion for content creation across digital and traditional media platforms. Zulfadli is a Creative Designer with a Diploma in Product & Industrial Design from Temasek Polytechnic, bringing over 9 years of diverse design experience. His expertise spans across various domains, including Furniture Design, Interior Design, Graphic Design and Service Design.
In addition to his design background, he has ventured in other experiences like events, management and sales, which has provided him with a holistic view of project execution from concept to delivery.
